Most people have heard to that sleep is important to us. Parents trying to get their infants to bed at a reasonable time are age old struggles. Some parents pay less attention to bed times as children get older. Getting their child to bed at a decent time seems to be the main goal. However, with smart phones and texting, teenagers may not be getting the necessary sleep. “Teenagers and adults who go to bed late on weeknights are more likely to gain weight than their peers who hit the hay earlier, according to a new study from UC Berkeley.”

The results showed that many teenagers do not get the recommended nine hours of sleep.
