Angela Lacalamita received her Masters in Professional Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University. She is an Illinois Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Ms. Lacalamita counsels both youth and adults. She provides counseling in a variety of areas including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, anger issues, trauma, and behavioral struggles.

Professional Orientation
Her professional approach employs a variety of strategies that contributes to an individual's growth and development. Her main area of focus has been with cognitive behavioral therapy, brief solutions therapy, education, stress management or reduction and life skills training.

Throughout one's life people will be faced with challenges. In most cases, individuals will be able to identify their problems and find adaptive means of coping. However, at times the appropriate solutions may not be apparent. Ms. Lacalamita's ability to convey the message that the client's issues and well being are of great importance, in conjunction with her integrative approach to treatment, can aid in personal growth and improve one's quality of life.
